Numbers & Money Value (Grades 1–2)
Learning the value of money at a young age will help build strong foundations for future saving habits and success. This weeklong camp will help enrich your child’s knowledge of the value of money.
What Kids Will Learn
During this 4 day-long camp, children will explore:
• Needs vs. Wants – learning the basics of what needs are compared to wants
• Value of Money – learning the Canadian money system and simple mathematic formulas with money
• Importance of Saving – exploring the reasons people save and how children can do it
• Earning Money – using fun games to introduce ways people earn money
• Generosity – discovering the meaning of being generous and how it builds someone up
• Wise Calculations – learning how to calculations and make change
Camp Highlights
• Small group learning (maximum 12 students)
• Fun games, role play, crafts, and storytelling
• Hands-on activities to practice money skills
• Simple and engaging lessons made just for younger kids
• A warm and encouraging environment where kids feel safe and confident
